It’s time to get out on the beach and fish, fish, fish!” The fall striped bass migration is beginning to take shape, and anglers can look forward to some of the season’s most exciting surf fishing in the weeks ahead. “I literally just watched whales in the surf, there’s bait all over the place,” said Steve at Jingles Bait and Tackle in Beach Haven on Sunday, adding “there’s tons of bait out there.” The big Sea Shell boat tournament was going on over the weekend, which always seems to lessen the number of inshore striper reports (loose lips), but Steve did say they had one slot striper reported caught in the inlet on a lure.

Continuing the legacy; Steve and Carole Ann purchased Jingles Bait and Tackle with the intention of continuing to serve the community just as Jingles has for so many years.
