It was another excellent week of striped bass fishing said sources over at the Keyport Marine Basin. The boat launch got a good workout on Saturday with a lot of anglers trying to get some last fishing time in before the predicted rainy weather on Sunday. The basin is now closed on Sunday and Monday.

Boats fishing out of the Keyport Marine Basin had mixed results but most caught fish, this past week. Sources there said the number of boat launches at the ramp was down with the midweek weather and the holiday. ?We are starting to see some colder weather and this too will start cutting into the number of anglers fishing in early December,? they said.
