Capt. Joe of the Captree based Laura Lee Fleet reported fluke trips have seen decent action with some trips better than others. The boats new “Free for Life” leader is a nice 7.92 pound fluke. Night trips have been mostly stripers. The best night trip this week was Saturday 11pm, where fares caught 78 striped bass to 37 inches and were just a few fish shy of keeping a full boat limit. Ling marathons start this week. All trips are limited to 1/3rd capacity, making for plenty of room at the rail, less tangles amongst fares and comfortable surroundings.
