From the LI Outdoorsman in Rockville Centre Mark let me know some largemouth bass were caught from Hempstead Lake State Park. He did hear of some stripers from the back waters of the North Shore Harbors on small Mag Darters and SP Minnows. One customer tried for cod and ended up with a handful of ling. The shop is getting ready for the season that’s right around the corner.
