After catching over 20 short fluke on a solo trip Capt. Jason of Little Sister Charters switched over to black sea bass which he says were willing to chew. He continued to take his clients to some of the best sea bass fishing in the area. Some of those big knot heads he is showing on his emails are impressive when compared to the number of shorts most fishermen are catching along with loads of sub-legal scup throughout the area. As of this report the skipper has open boat openings on several days. Give him a call and get on board to catch some quality sea bass and the one tog a day we are now allowed.

Northeast, southwest and from all quarters, Capt. Jason of Little Sister Charters has been heading out for sea bass, fluke and stripers and when the weather permits off to his distant honey hole for a limit of fluke and big sea bass. With the 30-footer he has the size and range to fish distant waters with more time spent fishing than travelling. One of his emails had the information about the Long Island dragger owner who was caught selling 28,000 pounds over his allotted fluke quota and that was just what they came up with. How many more thousands of pounds might they have missed? The kicker is that amount is not deducted from the commercial quota.
