Over at Marlena's Yacht Club, they reported striped bass action remains strong around the Point, with anglers scoring on diamond jigs, flutter spoons, and other jigging presentations. Bluefish are mixed in with the bass, while porgy fishing remains steady around the Point as well. Keeper sea bass are showing up around Frisbees and the Pocketbook, giving bottom fishermen another quality option.

Over at Marlena's Yacht Club, they reported that despite the persistent winds, the striped bass bite has remained consistent out in front of Montauk Point. Anglers working bucktails, diamond jigs, and live bait have been finding success around the rips. Porgy fishing continues to improve to the west around Greenport, and they are also beginning to hear of more sea bass showing up around the Point as the season progresses.
