Mary M IV

Capt. Sam Rescigno of the Mary M IV said fluke and sea bass have been providing great action, with plenty of fish keeping anglers busy. Most of the fluke have been on the short side, but the crew has been working hard to find keepers and has put some quality fish on deck, including fluke up to 6 pounds. Gulp and cut bait have been the most productive offerings lately.

The fluke bite has been particularly productive, keeping rods bent throughout the trip, although anglers are sorting through plenty of shorts to find the keepers. The variety on the grounds is a promising sign heading into September, with fluke remaining a major attraction while sea bass, porgies, and ling add plenty of action to the mix.
