Capt. Lenny of Miss Barnegat Light sailed in search of fluke on Wednesday but did not find as many as they hoped, but they did reel up some sea bass. The following day offered better fluke action with both bait and Gulp working. He mentioned the last drift was the best drift. Their Friday trip showed an improvement for fluke action with more keepers. Sunday offered good action with more fish close to keeper size. He said you really have to weed through them to find that keeper. The keepers that do come up, are nice.

Capt. Lenny of Miss Barnegat Light only managed to get out a few times this week due to rough winds. When they did get out, customers managed some nice fluke. They have nature and dolphin cruises scheduled, no reservations needed.
