Capt. Lenny of Miss Barnegat Light reported a strong week of fluke fishing, with the bite improving each day. Tuesday saw a major turnaround after a move, producing steady action and a respectable showing of keeper fluke. Wednesday started strong with nonstop bites throughout the trip, though more keepers would have been welcome. Friday capped off the week with outstanding action, a solid keeper ratio, several limits, and anglers who jigged with Gulp enjoying the most success.

Capt. Lenny of Miss Barnegat Light reported plenty of action throughout the trips this week, with Thursday producing a steady pick of fluke and plenty of throwbacks. Dwight claimed the pool honors while boating two keepers, and several more fluke made their way into the cooler. The keeper ratio improved Friday, with anglers enjoying a mix of short and keeper fluke, along with sea bass, small bluefish, and some hard-fighting spinner sharks adding extra excitement to the day. Saturday continued the trend with nonstop action and enough keeper fluke mixed in to keep anglers focused and rods bent throughout the trip.
