Over at the dock of the Miss Belmar and Miss Belmar Princess Capt. Al Shinn told me both boats will be striped bass fishing in the month of November. He too said most boat captains are hoping for a strong November to make up for some of the trips they lost in October.

“We only fished a couple of days this past week, one of which was Saturday before the blow,” said Capt. Al Shinn of the Miss Belmar Princess and Miss Belmar. Al said Saturday’s rip got into the stripers to the north of the inlet and the fishing was good enough to convince us to switch both boats over to striped bass fishing as of this Monday. Al said hopefully the Sunday storm will not mess up the bass fishing.
