Kingfishing is hot and heavy down in Atlantic City according to Noel of One Stop Bait and Tackle. The feisty scrappers are inhaling bloodworms and Fishbites and double-digit catches have been the norm if you want some fresh fish fillets. Fluke are still being bucktailed off the jetty rocks during the daytime while night anglers are finding some stripers and a weakfish here and there.

Flounder action from the jetties picked back up this week according to Noel with One Stop Bait and Tackle. Much larger fish were caught this week including several in the 4- to 5-pound range. Mr. Super Fluke Will had three keepers himself on Sunday from 3 pounds to 5 pounds, 7 ounces. Live minnows are getting it done fished close to the rocks. Lots of other fish are also in the area including kingfish, spot and croakers. Many of the kingfish and croakers are good eating size while the spot are the perfect size to pen up for bait. Bloodworms seem to be the only bait that these fish are currently interested in. The nighttime is seeing some nice stripers being caught, mostly on pink soft plastics with fish in the 20- to 30-inch size range.

At One Stop Bait and Tackle in Atlantic City bloodworms are absolutely crushing a ton of kingfish, croakers and spot off the local jetty rocks as you can fill a cooler with the trifecta. Fluke are always crushing bucktails cast off the rocks. Nighttime anglers are tossing small swimming plugs and soft baits on leadheads to connect with striped bass as well as weakfish up to 4 pounds.

Plenty of kingfish, spots and croakers are being caught in Atlantic City right now according to Noel with One Stop Bait and Tackle. They are being caught in really good numbers and the quality of the fish is excellent. This has been mostly on bloodworms, but sand fleas are also working well. Along with these fish, some blues are also being caught. The flounder action from the jetties is good on live minnows, but there are alot of smaller fish around right now. Finding a keeper has been taking more effort and patience and in previous weeks. Lastly, the night bite for weakfish and stripers is still going strong with fish taking larger soft plastic baits.
