Captain Tom from the Sea Wife IV reported a busy week of mixed-bag action. On Sunday, David Bartkowski, Chris, Christian, Brian, Josh, Ray and Dom put a beating on the bluefish while also catching a pile of sea bass and scup, along with a few nice fluke. On Tuesday, Roger Carmen’s group put together a sea bass limit along with a bunch of quality fluke and scup, with 96-year-old Ed leading the charge. Later Tuesday, Lou, Connor, Mike and Louis caught plenty of bluefish along with a great haul of sea bass, fluke and porgies. On Friday, Bob and Tim Coffey brought the family out for a full day and enjoyed non-stop bluefish action on diamond jigs. The group also boxed a sea bass limit for 11 anglers, along with plenty of porgies and a bunch of fluke. On Saturday, John Leefoon, Cedeno, Ali and Mohamed Ali caught a pile of bluefish, a porgy limit and a sea bass limit. Captain Tom from the Sea Wife IV had another busy week on the water. Monday’s commercial bluefish trip with Vern, Jimmy Trees, Paulie and Jake produced an impressive 83 bluefish in only a few hours. Tuesday afternoon, Eric Meltzer and his crew of Leo, Teddy, Abe, Russel, Jonah and Greyson got into 15 bluefish. Wednesday, Tom Barber, Bert, Phil, Greg and Tyler caught plenty of bluefish, a sea bass limit, some scup and a good number of keeper fluke. Thursday morning, Bob and Bobby Buchanon from Buchanon Land Works, along with Kyle, Aaron, Hugo and Pepe, found plenty of bluefish, a sea bass limit and a pile of porgies, while Thursday afternoon Jim, his son Bailey and his brother Kevin put together a sea bass limit, plenty of scup and several keeper fluke. Friday, Dr. Rachel sent her dad and the girls—Breem, Norah, Brooke and Abby—out to catch dinner, and they hammered the bluefish while adding a sea bass limit, plenty of scup and some big fluke. Saturday, Christian Bours and his buddies Teddy, Jim, Tyler, Jimmy, Jeff and Andrew worked through a northeast wind to catch plenty of bluefish, a sea bass limit and a mix of short and keeper fluke. Sunday, David Bartkowski, Christian, Brian, Christian, Josh, Ray and Dom capped off the week with 32 bluefish on a half-day trip, along with plenty of sea bass, scup and fluke while celebrating a bachelor outing.
