With the addition of fluke this past week anglers fishing out of the Twin Lights Marina added another fish to their menu this past week. Wayne said by far striped bass still garnered the lion’s share of attention from anglers. Wayne was another person that told us he has far too many boats at the marina that still are up on blocks and not in the water.

“Fishing was good this past week and this put a lot of people scurrying around trying to get their boats in the water,” said Wayne over at Twin Lights Marina. Wayne said with the bad weather we had this spring most people had to delay work on their boats and most marinas still have a good amount of boats still on blocks. The boats that are fishing are catching stripers and the fluke started moving into the bay this past week.

Twin Lights Marina is staffed with a courteous and competent crew led by a general manager who possesses a100-ton captain’s license and lives on-site to ensure optimal customer service. In additon to marina regulars, transient visitors are welcome here and the marina accommodates nightly or weekly stays. Guests have access to running water, dock power and clean bathroom and shower facilities. Regular customers enjoy the summer season in water slip storage from April 1st to October 31st (reserved for boats 30 to 45ft). Rack storage is provided for boats 29-ft and under.
