Wagner's Marina

It was a very slow week of fishing because of the hot weather and cold water for boats sailing out of Wagner’s Marina. Mike said boats that fished the bay saw mostly short fluke and boats that went offshore didn’t find any tuna. The only boats that caught any amount of fish were bottom fishing boats that did well with the ling and one fish limits of sea bass, he said.

We got a pair of reports when we spoke to Mike over at Wagner’s Marina. Mike said Andrew Pace found some good striped bass fishing in the back bay with a nice mix of mixed size bass coming his way. Al Pinkus and Charlie Grabowski enjoyed a good pull of fluke while fishing down from the Verrazano Bridge over the weekend.
