From White Water Outfitters in Hampton Bays, staff reported that limited ice fishing took place on a few East End waters, including Deep Pond and Wildwood, before the recent thaw set in. Anglers were picking away at perch, bass, and pickerel, and with warming temperatures expected, the upcoming thaw could trigger a short but productive push of white perch in the Southampton tidal creeks.
