Serves: 4-6
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. fish fillets (flounder, cod, etc.)
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 cups dry crumbs (see note below)
- Oil
Directions:
Cut the fillets into chunks and dust each piece with flour. Dip the floured fish into beaten egg and roll in crumbs until well coated. Heat oil as described in the last recipe and fry fish until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
NOTE: the crumbs may be bread crumbs, cracker meal, matzo meal or crushed corn flakes.
