The Canyon Runner Seminar Series are again coming to New Jersey and Long Island with classes January 24,in Atlantic City and February 28, in New York. Learn from the best in the business who have caught over 500 big eye tuna and have won $3,500,000 in tournaments!

The seminars are called "Core Classes" and instruction focuses on skills that must be mastered by beginners and experts alike. Crews from teams like Going in Deep, Hubris and Canyon Runner will be the features presenters. Free beverages and a breakfast will be served as tickets go on sale now. You must buy them in advance as they are always sold out.
Part of the proceeds will go towards raising $10,000 for Wounded Veterans as part of the Marine Wounded Warrior Regiment’s Navy Gift Fund in Quantico, VA. This year the most important thing they will do is give back to those that gave everything for us. Every year they run several offshore trips for free for our war veterans. So for the 2015 Seminars they are going to donate $5 per ticket directly to those wounded veterans as well as all additional funds raised by raffling off $5,000 in Canyon Runner Spreader Bars.
Featured Speakers and topics include: Canyon Runner Core Big-Eye Tactics with Capts. Dean Lambros, Kevin Muller and Greg Ryback. In the Past 3 years the Canyon Runner Crew has boated close to 250 Big-Eyes and Capt. Deane has been on the winning end of the majority of them including the biggest to date at 307 pounds. This course is a must attend for any new attendees. Capt. Capt. Walter Harmstead will present How to Properly Fish for that Fish of a Liftime -Tournament Secrets! With Over $1.5 million in tournament winnings in the last three years Capt. Harmstead has dominated the blue marlin and big eye tournament grounds the past several years so come learn how.
Capt. Mike Zajac and Capt. Ryan DiBagio will also present Tournament Big Eye Tactics where you can see how the crew of the Hubris has become one of the most consistent big eye tournament crews around. Learn both big eye fishing and how to properly fish a tournament covering tackle rigging, rules of engagement, strategy, and dedication to stay focused on that one bite that could be worth a million dollars.
Capt. John Galvin and the team from Poon Harpoons will put you through the paces to show you how to properly handle big fish at the boat – the most crucial part of ever battle and where most fish are lost. Thier presnetationis called The End Game.
The crew of the Restless Lady will present bluefin tactics as Capt. Sean and the crew of the Restless Lady will have their own breakout session showing you all their tricks that have put them on the bluefin bite every time they leave the dock including tactics pushing their tournament winnings north of $600,000!
Rigging Tackle Like a Pro will be presented by expert Dave Arbeitman of The Reel Seat who will show you everything you need to know to rig your tackle. You can’t possible fish the canyons and not know how to crimp and tie your own lures, rigs and bars. He will give a free $100 spreader bar and bag for groups of four or more!
