Stren Knot

This is a great choice for connecting thin diameter braids or slick “super lines” to varying sizes of monofilament or fluorocarbon. Be sure to wrap the mono or flurocarbon line around the braid or super line, not the other way around.

Hold line A and B together and form a loop with line B as shown.

Coil the tag end of line B around both the standing line and line A four (4) times, then pass back through loop.

Cinch the coils of line B around both lines.

Coil line A around line B seven (7) times. Pass through the center of coils and through the loop. Then pull tag end to tighten.
