The 14th annual Fluke Til Ya Puke tournament, hosted by the crew at Big Game Fishing Rhode Island, took place on Saturday, June 15, 2019. More than 1200 anglers battled rough seas and strong winds, all the while slugging it out for a spot in the money. The bite leading up to this year’s tournament was very good in the usual spots off Nantucket, Block Island and Montauk, and crews found fish in most all spots they were able to fish in the southwest blow.
In the end Bill Robinson came out on top with a 10.2-pound fish, second place was secured by Nino Averso for his 9.74-pound fluke, and Eric Alleyne grabbed third with a 9.38-pounder. There were also categories for junior, kayak and women anglers, and you can check out the full list of winners below.
