Coming off another banner year for popping yellow and bluefin tuna, Shimano has now released the Ocea Plugger Big Game series, which offers anglers the upper hand when casting stickbaits or poppers for giant tuna. Combined with Shimano’s Hi-Power X technology, Ocea Plugger BG provides anglers with improved rigidity, recovery, and overall strength while reducing the rod’s weight to deliver enhanced casting distance and accuracy without sacrificing the fish-fighting power needed to land these pelagics. The series has three models available from 7 to 7 feet, 10 inches.
