MARCHING IN WITH TWO BIG SHOWS

The folks from the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) have a busy start to the month, with two different shows for readers to consider.

For folks who like a little hunting with their fishing might consider the World Fishing & Outdoor Expo at Rockland Community College from March 2-5. This is the traditional show in the region for all-around outdoorsmen to book trips to hunting and fishing destinations around the globe, while finding some of latest hunting and fishing gear from local independent retailers.

The Fisherman Magazine’s Long Island edition staff will be manning the booth at the World Fishing and Outdoor Expo this week, held at Rockland Community College (RCC) is located at 145 College Road in Suffern, NY, just over the NY/NJ border. Show hours are Thursday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Admission is $13 for adults, $3 for kids aged 5-11 and free for kids 5 and under. NMMA is also pleased presented the Atlantic City Boat Show this week, kicking off on Wednesday, March 1 and running through Sunday, March 5 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. Check out hundreds of new boats including some of the latest new sportfishers, skiffs and center consoles on the market. Over at the Marine Marketplace, you’ll find unbeatable deals on marine technology, engines, accessories, nautical gifts, and more (look for The Fisherman Magazine at booths #826 and #155.)
