A potential new Delaware state record triggerfish was caught on Sunday, September 30, 2012. Buddy Masten was the lucky angler.
The big trigger was caught at The Icebreakers and is nearly 6 ounces heavier than the existing 5-pound, 15-ounce record. It was weighed on a certified scale by Capt. Joe Morris at Lewes Harbour Marina. A box crab proved the trophy’s undoing.
