Billed as “the biggest and best saltwater fishing expo in the east,” the three-day Saltwater Fishing Expo returns to the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center at 97 Sunfield Avenue in Edison this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from March 13-15.
The 2026 event will feature more than 280 exhibitors showcasing all types of saltwater rods, reels, tackle and gear from small and large manufacturers alike. If you’re looking to book a trip you’ll find a number of for-hire captains manning booths at the show, and there are also marine electronics, a handful of boats and kayaks, and over 30 “how to” fishing seminars by the likes of notable experts including Nick Honachefsky, Jenni Ackerman, Shell E. Caris, John Skinner, Frank Mihalic, Anthony Maja, and “Crazy” Alberto Knie, along with top Jersey Shore charter pros like captains Khoa Nguyen, Tom Daffi, Jim Freda, Alan Lee, Cody Melton and Frank Crescitelli.
Doors open Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday is family day when children 11 and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult, with the first 100 kids 11 and under receiving a Daiwa rod/reel combo!
