On this week’s Open Boat we are covering a spectacular tournament back for its second year, The Kid’s Striper Classic. Based out of Sandy Hook NJ, this is an excellent tournament sponsored by awesome donors to get kids hooked on fishing. Today, we’re teaming up with Fishermen’s Source of Ocean NJ, on board the Bottom Line to get these kids on some big Jersey stripers!
Some results from this tournament which took place on November 2nd, included almost over 60 participants making core memories of catching fish of a lifetime. Young anglers were even lucky enough to measure and enter multiple 50 inch stripers that were all healthily released. Here are the results from the leaderboard:
