It is with heavy hearts that we inform you Lorry Mangan passed away on Saturday, December 9. A former field reporter covering the East End for the Fisherman Magazine’s Long Island edition, Lorry held several IGFA women’s world records- some of which still stand – and was a longtime member of the Lady Reelers Fishing Club. Mother, wife and community activist, Lorry was probably most widely recognized within the recreational fishing community for her popular television show, Long Island Fishing with Lorry Mangan. The show ran live and had an exceptionally loyal following.

Reposing at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station (www.obdavisportjefferson.com). Visitation Monday and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services Wednesday 10 a.m. Interment Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
