STRICTLY BOATERS BOAT SHOW - The Fisherman

STRICTLY BOATERS BOAT SHOW

Get ready for an in-season, in-water boat show in the historic port of Cape May, New Jersey. Held at venerable South Jersey Marina, Strictly Boaters is a different approach to getting boats and boating related products and services in front of actual customers. The Show is designed to give the serious boater an exclusive place to view boats, products and services without the trappings and inconveniences of traditional shows. Moreover, the show layout has been designed to encourage sea-trials.

This is an inexpensive show that focuses on the sale of boats and related equipment and services instead of ticket sales. With numerous manufacturers, dealers and related boating businesses throughout our region, South Jersey Marina is the heart of boating in the Mid-Atlantic region. Literally, thousands of serious, mid-level and above, affluent, boaters live in the region and actively participate in boating activities along our coast, harbors and bays. Strictly Boaters allows us to join together and promote our products in an objective forum to those who are truly interested in them and have the financial resources to purchase them.

As part of Strictly Boaters’ commitment to being an event that is by boaters and for boaters, the exhibitors are offering two FREE tickets to everyone holding either a New Jersey Boating Safety Certificate or Sea Tow Membership Card. Just complete this form (www.strictlyboaters.com) and we will hold two tickets for you at the ‘Will Call’ booth. You can pick up the tickets when you arrive at the show. If you need more than two tickets, contact a Participating Dealer. Otherwise the tickets are $15.00 at the gate. The show runs from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. every day at South Jersey Marina.

Last year, the Strictly Boaters Boat Show expanded its focus in an effort to extend its reach. “Strictly Boaters” is all about selling boats and boating. Although open to all, this is not an event that seeks to attract the non-boating public who want to spend a day “looking at the pretty boats.” Rather it has been designed as a selling venue where potential customers in this region can see what is available, make comparisons, get updated information and buy that new boat for the upcoming season.

Admission is – get this – still free for Sea Tow members and other bona fide boaters. Click on: www.SeaTowCapeMay.com for membership information. Why not make it a weekend? Come for the boat show and stay for weekend. Click on: www.CapeMayChamber.com for accommodations and dining information.
