SUFFOLK MARINE ANGLERS BEING HONORED

On Friday, March 31st Hospice Care Network will host its Annual Children and Family Bereavement Celebration at Southward Ho Country Club in Bay Shore, NY. Suffolk Marine Anglers will be honored for their exceptional support and commitment to Hospice Care Network and significant involvement in the Long Island community.

While Suffolk Marine Anglers exists as an entity of its own, the club is sponsored and supported by Suffolk Marine Center in Babylon. Included among the 100 members (membership is by invitation only) are some of the region’s best inshore and offshore anglers. Suffolk Marine anglers hosts monthly fishing derbies and member/guest tournaments throughout the season. Its marquee event is the Annual Spring Striped Bass Tournament which benefits Hospice Care Network’s Children and Family Bereavement Program. The tournament has raised over $30,000 for the program.

Any anglers wishing to support the program, or to recognize the efforts of Suffolk Marine Anglers are welcome to attend. A sold out crowd of 220 guests is expected and all those in attendance will enjoy a cocktail reception, buffet dinner, live auction, music by The Dirty Vice Band and dancing. Tickets are $175 each.
