Dust off your blackfish/tautog gear and get ready for the 4th Annual Black Hall Outfitters TOG-TOBER blackfish tournament on October 14 – 15, 2017. With boat, kayak and Barbie rod divisions, there is something for everyone.
There will be some great prizes up for grabs with top the prizes going to the heaviest fish in each division including cash prize for the big boat division and a Malone kayak trailer for the kayak division. The Barbie rod division will have a separate prize pool with proceeds going to the Sound School There will also be a huge raffle at the awards ceremony on Sunday with items from the extensive list of sponsors including The Fisherman Magazine, Humminbird, Old Town, Malone, Costa Del Mar, Stormr, RAM Mounts, Tsunami Fishing Tackle, YakAttack, Plum Island Swimbaits, Watersox, E3 LED Lights, Real Fish Prints, JoeBaggs Bucktails and many more.
The entry fee for the kayak and big boat divisions is $30, and the Barbie rod division is an additional $20. Entry must be decided for and paid in full at Black Hall Outfitters (132 Shore Road, Old Lyme, CT) prior to the close of business on Friday, October 13. You can sign up for the tournament in-person or call the shop at 860-434-9680, and all participants will receive 205 off all in-stock Stormr Gear the weekend of the tournament.
Weigh-ins must be made at Black Hall Outfitters and will be open until 4:00 PM on Saturday and 2:00 PM on Sunday with a cookout, music, raffles and awards ceremony to immediately follow at Black Hall Outfitters. The 2017 Old Town Kayak fishing fleet will be on hand all weekend for demo rides.
