In collaboration with the Fishing Advisory Board, State Parks dedicated a memorial plaque to the late Fisherman senior editor Fred Golofaro, acknowledging some of his accomplishments that benefited the fishing community throughout his years. The plaque is located at the Captree Overlook Pier – a spot where Fred would visit often. The dedication ceremony was attended by State Parks, Fishing Advisory Board members, The Fisherman Magazine staff, and Fred’s friends and family.
