ATTENTION CONNECTICUT TROUT FISHERMEN!
Be on the lookout in the Farmington River area of Connecticut on Saturday, April 11, the opening day of trout season. While the Black Hawk is mainly known as one of the best open boats in the area, this time Captain Greg has teamed up with Rowledge Pond Aquaculture to bring you a special opportunity on opening day. Two good-sized trout are being tagged and released in the Farmington River area. These fish are worth $5,000 each!
Here’s how it works. If you catch one of the tagged fish, it’s worth $1,000 instantly. If you’ve signed up for the Black Hawks email list then there’s a $4,000 cash bonus making each fish worth a total of $5,000. That’s right- $5,000! In addition if the lucky angler is a child 12 or under, he or she will also receive a season pass on the Black Hawk.
