The Progressive Insurance Atlantic City Boat Show docks at the Atlantic City Convention Center from Wednesday, February 27 through Sunday, March 3 with more than 500 boats and activities for the entire family.
An informative lineup of seminars presented by the Recreational Fishing Alliance (RFA) and The Fisherman Magazine will kick off on Wednesday at 12:30 with an AIS worshop with Brian Favre of Martek Marine Electronics of Cape May, with The Fisherman’s Jim Hutchinson, Jr. at 1:30 with a look at Bunker & Bass for 2019. Join RFA’s Jim Donofrio at 3 p.m. with his discussion on Fishery Management and the Political Process, with the first of a whole of week of daily offshore seminars by the Canyon Runner crew.
In addition to the daily fishing seminars, the event organizers from the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) have also put together a host of day-to-day incentives. “Super Thursday” will boast deeper savings throughout the convention center on the best in boating, plus $5 off after 5 p.m. on tickets, discounted parking, food & drink specials, and exclusive giveaways from concert tickets to hotel stays, restaurant certificates and much more courtesy of Meet AC!
New for 2019 is the Go Fishing Friday Fish Fighting Tournament from 5 to 7 p.m. on March 1, where anglers can compete in the virtual fishing simulator for the bragging rights of Best Angler and register into the tournament for your chance to win a YETI Tundra 45 cooler valued at $299. There’s also an #ACBoatShow Scavenger Hunt with great prizes ranging from new fishing rods and lures to boating gear and accessories that will be hidden throughout the Show each weeknight from 5 to 8 p.m., with hints posted on Instagram @acboatshow each day. Show hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Progressive Insurance Atlantic City Boat Show is being held at the Atlantic City Convention Center, One Convention Blvd in Atlantic City.
