Join The Fisherman Magazine along the New Jersey beaches in late November of ’23 for a sampling of the fall striper run, beginning with a little sand eel bite in snow flurries at Brick Beach, followed by some afternoon madness at Island Beach State Park during the peanut bunker invasion with heavy bird play over whitewater bass action.
During an annual industry show in Atlantic City which brought together local tackle shops with national manufacturers to help restock for the New Year, The Fisherman’s Mike Caruso, Jim Hutchinson and Jenni Ackerman grabbed a few friends from the American Sportfishing Association (ASA) including the organization’s president Glenn Hughes along with ASA’s Atlantic fisheries policy director Mike Waine, as we talk and fish for striped bass.
Hop in the 4WD buggy with us and a few of the locals for a run and gun surfcasters’ quest for November into December striped bass along the Central Jersey Coast as we enjoy a great day of surfcasting with friends from the ASA, all while sampling a few of the finer moments of the ’23 fall run.
