An interesting link between FECOP, a conservation organization in Costa Rica whose mission is to influence their local government to prioritize sustainable fishing regulations through a united association of guides and El Jefe Baits. El Jefe, under the tutelage of Larry Dahlberg, has brought jobs to an impoverished section of Costa Rica where local women are building and painting balsawood fishing lures that are now being sold all over the world.
