American Angler would like to announce and invite all anglers to the 4th Annual American Angler Classic Surf Fishing Tournament on Sunday, October 16 on the beach of Long Beach Island, N.J.
It is an individual (family, friends and kids) type of tournament. There are two categories for prize, adult 18 and older and youth for those 17 and under, awarded to the largest in length fish landed and scored as per the rules. The event is sponsored in part by Muller Insurance, Fireplaces Plus, Stop n Shop, Porta Rod, Costa and Century Rod/Advanced Fishing – USA.
Late registration ($30 for adults, $15 for youth) starts at 6 a.m. on the day of the event at Bayview Park, 6805 Long Beach Boulevard in Brant Beach. The tournament fishing runs from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. Go to AmericanAnglerus.com to download the application or call Carl Hartmann at 201-481-4390.
