June 13-20. Presented by the Beach Haven Marlin and Tuna Club will once against their annual Tuna Open from June 13-20. Eligible species in this sixth annual event include bigeye, bluefin, longfin and yellowfin with optional calcuttas.
The Beach Haven Marlin and Tuna Club is located at 420 West Pennsylvania Avenue in Beach Haven, which is where the tuna weigh-ins will take place dockside. Boats will elect to fish any two of the six available fishing days; the two elected fishing days may be back-to-back, and boats do not have to return to port if they are fishing back-to-back days. Fish any time, no lines in/lines out times.
Last year’s Tuna Open featured the largest prize pool to date, $188,425, and tournament organizers are hoping this year’s total prize pool will be even bigger.
