ALS Fluke Tagging Aboard The Mi-Jo II - The Fisherman

ALS Fluke Tagging Aboard The Mi-Jo II

On Saturday, September 3, the American Littoral Society (ALS) will present their Annual Fluke Tagging Trip aboard the Mi-Jo II out of the Atlantic Highlands.

“Any fluke that are not keepable, we will be tagging and releasing and the angler (regardless of Littoral Society membership status) will have their information put down on the tagging card,” noted ALS fish tagging director Emily McGuckin. “We will be providing all the tagging supplies and registrants will have the opportunity to become Fish Tagging Members if wanted,” she added.

The cost for American Littoral Society Members is $80, and for non-members it is $100. “If people have any questions, they can email me at emily.mcguckin@littoralsociety.org,” McGuckin added.  You can also get more details on ALS online at littoralsociety.org.

Captained by Mike Scardigno, the 75-foot Mi-Jo is licensed for up to 95 passengers and runs trips daily out of Atlantic Highlands Municipal Harbor.  For party and charter information call 732-872-0121.
