October brings the transformation of Ego Alley and Annapolis Harbor into a boater’s dream this Thursday through Sunday, as floating docks create a temporary marina showcasing new and premiering boats and the latest in boating accessories, equipment and apparel during the Annapolis Powerboat Show.
Whether you are a boater, angler, or just getting started, you will want to grab your family and head to downtown Annapolis and soak in the boating lifestyle, catch up with old boating friends, and make new ones as you walk the docks. The event runs along the City Dock in Annapolis, MD from October 2 through October 5. Show hours are Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Boat show visitors are encouraged to park at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (550 Taylor Ave, Annapolis, MD 21401) and take a free shuttle to and from the show. Shuttles will run one hour prior to show opening through one hour after the show closes. On Saturday, October 4 the parking will be at the Board of Education at 2644 Riva Road Annapolis at a cost of $15 cash only.
Preview Day is Thursday at a cost of $45, while General Admission is $32. Kids ages 7 to 15 are admitted for $10 general admission price, while those 6 and under are admitted free.
