Construction started on the new pavilion area at Cupsogue County Park on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. While the park will remain open, access and parking will be limited through the spring. Lifeguards will no longer be on duty after Labor Day Monday. The outer beach and campground will remain open until the end of the season, but there will be no available restrooms or water.
