Glen Rock High School rising seniors Michael McCarthy and Kevin Dalton will represent Glen Rock High School and the state of New Jersey in the 2021 Mossy Oak Fishing Bassmaster High School National Championship on Tennessee’s Lake Chickamauga from July 29-31.

McCarthy and Dalton secured their spot in the national tournament by winning first place in the NJ B.A.S.S. Nation High School State Championship.  The Glen Rock anglers have fished competitively with the NJ B.A.S.S. Nation Youth and High School programs for the past five years.

The New Jersey B.A.S.S Nation was established to provide an association between anglers for the advancement of the sport of bass fishing, enjoyment of competition between friends, the appreciation of our natural environment, conservation and the goodwill of our community. The program consists of three annual spring tournaments and a state championship on New Jersey lakes and reservoirs.
