It’s hard to think of a more rewarding day of work, than the day I spent helping the crew from the Goose Hummock Shop with their annual Kid’s Fishing Day. In spite of the unstable weather, more than 220 kids showed up for the event and all of them took home a free rod and reel. Many colorful personalities were on display as the group of hardy anglers toughed out the cold and spurts of heavy rain. I already can’t wait until next year and a huge thanks goes out to the Goose Hummock crew for inviting us along!
