In other SFEC news, Alaine Krajicek took top honors in the Herb Hollinger Sr. Opening Day Flounder Tournament with a 4.34-pound flattie on May 2. “The Herb Hollinger Sr. Opening day flounder tournament was a great day of fishing for everyone. The flounder cooperated and the weather was beautiful,” said Herb Hollinger, who also thanked the folks at Whale Creek Marina for weighing in all the fish caught.
“Hard to believe this was the 21st year for the tournament,” Hollinger added.
