The Association of Surf Angling Clubs (ASAC) fall tournament circuit continues this Saturday, October 10 with the 9th Annual Jeff Bajek Memorial Surf Fishing Tournament. Presented by the Merchantville Fishing Club, this event is open to teams and individuals on the beach in Surf City. ASAC rules will apply.
Registration is from 5:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. at tournament headquarters at the Surf City Fire Hall, 813 Long Beach Boulevard in Surf City. The first session of fishing runs from 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m., with session two running from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Hot lunch will be served soon after back at the firehouse, with awards and raffles to commence.
