After being located at Senix Marina for 26 years, the Moriches-based party and charter boat fleet, King Cod will be relocating their larger, 51-foot vessel to the Captree location, built to cater to the for hire industry. The 6 passenger 41-foot Hatteras will continue to sail out of Center Moriches from a location right around the corner from where they are currently docked. They will be offshore wreck fishing, followed by winter cod fishing.
The larger party boat will be at Captree for the fall/winter 2023 through 2024 season. They will be located on the far right side of the dock, right in front of Captree Bait and Tackle. They plan to kick off the festivities for opening day blackfish, on Wednesday, October 11th. They will also be diamond jigging for striped bass, sea bass fishing, and then cod fishing right through the winter.
