Mr. Poseidon’s 6th Annual 3-Day Montauk Striper Challenge returns October 15 through 17, bringing anglers together for three days of striped bass fishing in Montauk. The catch-and-release-only tournament will be based out of Montauk’s Lower Lot and promises an exciting weekend of competition during the height of the fall run.
Now in its sixth year, the event continues to celebrate Montauk’s legendary striped bass fishery while promoting responsible fishing practices through its catch-and-release format. Participants will have the opportunity to compete for more than 10 prizes, along with additional side challenges taking place throughout the three-day event.
With October traditionally offering some of the best striped bass opportunities along the East End, the tournament provides anglers with a chance to test their skills while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow surfcasters.
