The Narragansett Surfcasters are extremely pleased to announce that its 8th Annual Surf Day will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Narragansett Community Center, at 53 Mumford Road, Narragansett Rhode Island. The event will feature more than thirty vendors offering a wide variety of great used and new fishing gear, from terminal tackle to rods and reels. In addition, Marty Wencek’s antique plug collection will be on display and, of course, our renowned chowder and clam cakes will be on the menu.
The $5 admission (free to those under age 15) helps to support the Club’s numerous charitable activities – Earth Day Cleanup, Kids Fishing Day, Disabled Veterans Fishing Outing, and gift cards for needy families during the Holiday Season. Surf Day is a mid-winter event for fishing enthusiasts of all ages and is always well-attended. So “polish up” a few of your best fishing stories and come share them with fellow anglers at Surf Day 2022.
