Owen Dahl (age 8) tackled this 35-pound bluefin about 18 miles east of Barnegat while fishing on his dad Erik’s boat Reel Obsession. “He is quite the fisherman and I especially like how he works the fish,” said his grandfather Karl.

Five young lady anglers enjoyed action with fluke, triggerfish, black sea bass, and sea robins while fishing with their dads aboard the Last Lady with Capt. Ralph on July 24.

 

Harold Martin from Belmar hit the Sea Girt Reef earlier this summer and caught this 7-1/2-pound fluke on a chartreuse 6-inch Gulp grub.
