The New York Coalition for Recreational Fishing (NYCRF) is holding a special raffle to help cover the costs of the NY Surf Fishing Contest. The prize? A brand-new Van Staal VSX2 250 Bail-less, left-hand retrieve reel in black, valued at $1,060.
For anglers, it’s a chance to score one of the most coveted reels on the market for as little as $10. Tickets are priced at $10 each or three for $25, and multiple entries are encouraged. The raffle runs until December 31, 2025, at 11:55 p.m., with the lucky winner announced on January 1, 2026—a great way to kick off the New Year.
