On Saturday, August 20, the Ozarks 23rd Annual Fluke Tournament and Greater Saltwater Open will commence with $6,000 in prizes including $2,000 for first place based on 100 boats. Presented by the Ozark Sportsmen Club of Jackson, tournament proceeds will benefit Heroes on the Water – New Jersey chapter.
Captains meeting will be held on Thursday, August 18 at 7 p.m. at either of two locations, the Ozark Sportsmen Club at 150 Toms River Road in Jackson (732-928-1650), or at On the Deck at 10 Simon Lake Drive in Atlantic Highlands NJ (609-516-4096). It’s $200 to register your crew (up to four anglers) at the captains meeting, but just $149 before August 12. Entrance to an awards ceremony and pig roast at the Am-Vets Post #002 on Sunday, August 21 is included with your entry fee.
