During the morning of an early October storm, Sergio Pabon chunked up this 47-inch striper from the Smith Point stretch of beach.Debbie Brown fished Shinnecock Inlet on the first of the month for a 27-pound striper she caught and released.“Only tap I had all morning, fish was released safely” said Frankie Stimmel of Levittown who caught this 37-pounder on a homemade bucktail from Shinnecock Inlet.The back creeks hold them too! Fourteen-year-old Lucas Miller scored with this 42-inch striper he caught right off the dock across the street from Argyle Park in Babylon.Bluefish have been quite active inside North Shore harbors and Will Coppola found them feeding on spearing right at first light. Topwater was the trick to getting them to strike.Five-year-old Anna Nosworthy is pictured with her second fluke ever — a fat 4-pounder taken on a live killie. Not bad for a second summer flattie.
