Product Spotlight: Grundens Boundary Stockingfoot Waders

We’re excited to announce that Grundens has recently gotten into the wader game with the release of their new Boundary Stockingfoot waders. Available in a front zip style along with standard men’s and women’s cuts, these “high-end” waders live up to the label. Oh, and of course, they also released a new Boundary wading boot. But let’s focus on the waders for now.

I said “high-end,” and I do mean it. These waders are designed with GORE-TEX Pro Wader Laminate, giving you excellent mobility, in and out of the water. Those who do any degree of shore fishing know that movement is key for those long walks on a sand beach, down the jetty, or even along a river. I’ve even struggled to bend down and unhook a fish in certain waders, so the extra movement provided by the Boundary waders will certainly make doing that an easier task.

Grundens took a page out of the climbing handbook when designing the shoulder straps on these waders. Their suspender system is one of the most comfortable out there because of the material used and the shape of the suspenders. I know in the past, I had the straps on my waders dig into my shoulders after hours of fishing. That won’t be an issue now.

I always say comfort boils down to how your feet are feeling. And those who have spent hours standing on a rock or along a river know that the terrain will leave your feet screaming if they’re the slightest bit uncomfortable for an extended period of time. Fortunately, this pair includes a dual-density, anatomically shaped neoprene stocking constructed with two innovative titanium coating layers that reflect body heat back to your feet for cold water comfort and warmth going into the fall months.

The waders also include features like double weave stretch woven gravel guards that stay secure to the boot while wading, removing the need for a boot hook; anatomically placed seams that reduce wear in critical areas; fleece lined chest pass-through hand warmer pocket; drop-in chest storage pocket designed for extra tackle and a phone, along with the overall quality that Grundens has showcased in all their products for years.

The front-zip pair comes in at $899.99 while the standard pair will run you $599.99.
