Humminbird XPLORE Multi-Function Displays

humminbird.com

Introduced last December and ready for the upcoming 2025 season, Humminbird’s new XPLORE platform combines the proven features of HELIX with advanced technology like Cross Touch control, improved waypoint management, high definition Lakemaster and Coastmaster mapping and a redesigned interface for unmatched ease of use. With a powerful quad-core processor, fast start-up capabilities and customizable side buttons, XPLORE ensures anglers spend less time navigating their device and more time catching fish. Featuring an intuitive touchscreen with full keypad, XPLORE allows anglers to quickly access critical features like Spot-Lock, mapping, and waypoint management. XPLORE Series MFDs will be offered in 9-inch, 10-inch and 12-inch screens.

Smooth Operator

With its easy-to-use interface, XPLORE eliminates the complexity of traditional fish finders. Featuring intuitive shortcut buttons, anglers can quickly access key features like navigation, Spot-Lock and advanced mapping tools with just a click. Its fast startup, reset and update capabilities, powered by a quad-core processor, ensure that it adapts to changing conditions with minimal delays. Integration with the One-Boat Network (OBN) means anglers can easily sync with Minn Kota trolling motors and anchors, offering smooth control from the console, remote app, or foot pedal. The design ensures effortless handling, whether navigating the boat or accessing features like follow, dodge and drift modes. Updates are simple with XPLORE, with software pushed automatically through the OBN app, ensuring anglers always have the latest tools at their fingertips. The customizable OBN side buttons allow presets to the features anglers rely on most. XPLORE purchases include a map card pre-loaded with 1-foot LakeMaster and CoastMaster maps, offering high-definition cartography for more than 13,000 lakes in the U.S. and Canada, major U.S. coastal waters and 170 million acres of water. SmartStrike technology enhances the experience by delivering live predictions of where fish are most likely to bite based on real-time conditions. The streamlined waypoint management system allows anglers to sync up to 10,000 waypoints between devices, with customizable icons and color-coding for easy organization and quick access. Paired with the Cross Touch interface, offering both touchscreen navigation and keypad control, XPLORE delivers a versatile, seamless user experience for smooth operation in any condition.

Save A Wreck

One of the really cool features of the new Humminbird EXPLORE multi-function displays is the dedicated “screen snapshot” key. If you’re a dedicated wreck, reef and structure angler (like I am), you can actually snap a photo of your favorite wreck or piece of structure and keep a photo of it. At the touch of the hot key, the image is instantly saved to an onboard SIM card, which can easily be removed from the unit via a slot on the backside of the MFD and transported to a stationary or laptop computer. Once you get this back home, it can be plugged in and then saved to a file. You can keep a collection of all your favorite wrecks, see how they change over time and observe how fish orient over the structure at different stages of the tide or winds.

To summarize, the new XPLORE key features include: seamless integration with Minn Kota motors, shallow water anchors and the OBN for total boat control; advanced waypoint management with a tailored system with customizable icons and color-coded waypoints, with the ability to sync up to 10,000 waypoints with a smartphone; the Cross Touch interface offers dual control options, specifically touchscreen capabilities and/or keypad for precise menu scrolling and operation; an HD display that offers bright and clear screens in all conditions, delivering unmatched visibility for fish, structure and underwater detail; compatibility with MEGA Live Imaging, MEGA 360 Imaging and MEGA Side and Down Imaging and existing Humminbird transducers. Humminbird proves again that when out on the water, there’s always more to XPLORE.
